Location information

The Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue is located in Rüschlikon above Lake Zurich.

It is 15 minutes from Swiss Re's head-office at the Mythenquai in Zurich (see map: Mythenquai to Rüschlikon ) and 45 minutes from Zurich airport (see map: Airport to Rüschlikon).

The number of parking spaces in our basement garage is limited. The Centre can conveniently be reached by public transport.

The Centre is easily accessible by:

Bus
Bus 165: Take the bus at Zurich Bürkliplatz in the direction of Rüschlikon to the "Säumerstrasse" stop. The Centre is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop.
Bus 161: Take the bus at Zurich Bürkliplatz in the direction of Kilchberg to the "Auf Brunnen" stop.

The Centre is a 10 minute walk from the bus stop.

Train
The most convenient station for the Centre is Thalwil. There are several regular rail connections from the airport and from Zurich Central Station to Thalwil. Travel times are:

Airport-Thalwil; about 30 minutes
Central Station-Thalwil with Line S2, S8 or Line 24; about 15 minutes

From Thalwil station take a taxi to the Centre, which takes about 10 minutes.

Boat
Boat trips from Bürkliplatz offer a relaxed and scenic route to the pier at Rüschlikon, then a 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride to the Centre.

From Zurich: Motorway A3 in direction of Chur; exit Thalwil
From Chur: Motorway A3 in direction of Zurich; exit Thalwil

Airport
You can reach the Centre by taxi from the airport in about 45 minutes, from Zurich Central Station in about 30 minutes and from Thalwil station about 10 minutes.
