3rd Swiss Re Symposium on Data Protection: The future of insurance in a data-driven world

18 Nov 2014

Organised by Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd
Location: Rüschlikon/Zurich, Switzerland

About the event

Swiss Re's Symposium on Data Protection has grown in four years from an internal expert hearing to a major re/insurance forum. Over that short period the technology of data management has advanced rapidly. Re/insurers must provide risk solutions for this young industry while balancing data privacy and compliance requirements.

The symposium aims to stimulate dialogue between re/insurers, data professionals and legal officers. The organisers have invited thoughtful and challenging speakers who will provide fresh perspectives on the management of Big Data. Data driven innovation needs to be encouraged while enforcing privacy, safety and legal requirements.

Re/insurers are an important part of data management strategy. Join us to shape the debate.

Today, the exponentially increasing amount and types of data available, as well as the speed with which it can be processed, leaves the industry on the brink of major changes.
